When passing through Lincoln, Illinois, be sure to stop by the Heritage in Flight Museum, located at the Logan County Airport in Lincoln. The Heritage in Flight Museum features aviation and military displays from all the military conflicts of this century plus a flight line of static displays from helicopters to carrier jets. The Museum building is an actual WWII barracks from Camp Ellis. The Heritage in Flight Museum is dedicated to the preservation of aviation history. The museum displays memorabilia and artifacts from all the military conflicts dating back to WWI. These mementos have been donated by both veterans and their families. [1]
