During 2000, the British firm Rockwell Publishing, issued a series of three different sized 10-card sets of Early Allied Warplanes commercial trade cards. The card fronts featured attractive color side views of aircraft used by the Allies during the Great War (WWI). The individual aircraft in each of the three sets were all the same except they were resized to fit the individual sets. Using dark grey ink, the text on the card backs were overprinted on a dark grey side-view silhouette of the aircraft featured on the card front. The descriptive text included the set title, the card number, the card title, descriptive and technical data about the aircraft, and of course Rockwell Publishing advertising. The following thumbnail images are links to the three different Early Allied Warplanes sets.

The following reference card shows the fronts and backs of a typical 2000 Rockwell Early Allied Warplanes (LT10) card. This set is the largest of the three sets, and is the same size of a typical American Baseball card.
